According to our research, the contracting party of LetsLucky is Hollycorn N.V. (Reg. No. 144359); payment processing: Libergos Limited (Cyprus), with its seat in Curacao. The platform holds a licence from Curacao (No. 8048/JAZ2019-015).

Legal assessment

Online casino offerings directed at Austrian players require a licence in Austria. Without this licence under the Gambling Act, the underlying contract is void. According to the settled line of the Austrian Supreme Court (OGH), losses can be reclaimed retroactively for up to thirty years.

The crypto division of LetsLucky falls under the same legal framework, and stakes from wallet transactions are reconstructed.

Online poker too is subject to the Austrian gambling monopoly according to the OGH line and therefore requires a licence. Providers without an Austrian licence breach the Gambling Act, the contracts are void, and stakes are reclaimable.
